This is the re-scheduled trip for the Towra Point paddle. This is a special trip aiming for us to venture deep into the mangroves at a king (2.04m) tide. This is a unique adventure that requires kayak manoeuvring skills as we paddle single file finding our way through the trees into a peaceful mangrove sanctuary. We will aim to meet around 8am and launch from Dolls Point by 08.30 so we can catch the mangroves at peak high tide (9.42am). Here we will enter the mangroves and find our way (literally). Then we can take morning tea at a sandy beach for BYO coffee and food, and should also be able to have a swim.
We can extend the tour around the mangrove wetlands before heading back to Dolls Point.
