If you a NSWSKC member and live on the South Coast, then this event is for you. Following a difficult year on the South Coast this is a great opportunity to connect with fellow club members. All Paddler Grades.

The aim is to have a social paddle in Batemans Bay and then reconvene for a BBQ and general social event. It will be a relaxed opportunity for you to meet fellow NSWSKC members on the South Coast who you may not have seen for some time. You can also just come for the BBQ event.

We will be based for the day at Maloneys Beach on the North side of Batemans Bay which has good parking and launch point, toilets and electric BBQ.

There will be upto three trips organised subject to the weather conditions, but some possible destinations may include Tollgate Island Circuit, North Head and Oaky Beach return, Cullandulla Creek and Snapper Island Circuit. These trips will aim to show you some of the great sights around Batemans Bay and will be approx. 12-15km long.

For those that are interested in making a weekend of it there will be at least one NSWSKC Club Trip organised for next day i.e. Sunday. This will be a full day trip and will aim to paddle a different location in the Batemans Bay area. This trip will be posted separately and have its own registration.

Meet at Maloneys Beach at 9:00am for 9:30am on water. The trips will be timed to finish at 12:00 which will give time for packing up and changing before the BBQ.  BBQ lunch will be available from 12:30 and you are welcome to stay as long as you want afterwards.

Register for this event on the Club’s on-line system. Due to Covid restrictions at this point there will be a limit of 20 but you will be added to a waitlist if this number is exceeded. Register early to confirm your spot.

For those that just want to attend the BBQ on Saturday you still need to register for this event but please let us know your preference after you register.

Further details will be e-mailed to registrants nearer the time.

Kayaks to Grade 2 as far as possible.

STANDARD COVID GUIDELINES – NSW SEA KAYAK CLUB, as at 31 August 2020 will apply to trips.
