NSW SKC AGM Weekend – October 9 & 10 2021
The NSW SKC AGM will be held at 5.00pm on Saturday 9 October 2021 at the Patonga Community Hall.
This means that over that weekend many Club members will stay in or close to Patonga to enjoy paddles and training activities on the Saturday and Sunday across the spectacular lower Hawkesbury/Central Coast region.
The program has not yet been finalised but we expect to be able to commit to more activity than last year due to a better (fingers crossed) situation with respect to Covid-19.
So now is the time to put this in your diary. Camping is available at the Patonga Camp Ground and details can be found at: https://patongacamping.cchp.com.au/
Note that the camp ground requires a minimum 2-night stay on weekends. If you are planning to stay only Saturday night it is cheaper to book Sat/Sun nights rather than Fri/Sat nights. Of course, it is cheaper still to share the site with another Club member and you can use our Club Facebook Group to find other members who are wanting to share.
Stay tuned for more detail on weekend activities (trips and training) and details of the AGM – including a possible guest speaker. Also, if you have ever considered joining the Committee now is your chance as all Committee positions are opened at each AGM. Being on the Committee is a great way to meet other members and to really get the most out of your Club. If you have ever considered this in any capacity feel free to contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
