 Grades  1 and 2

8:30 – 12:30, 18 October 2020, Clontarf

A half-day workshop exploring different  self-rescue techniques in an effort to establish what works best for you. Expect to be playing around with different bits of gear such as paddle floats and stirrups. The nature of the session is that you will be likely to get some exposure to COVID-safe assisted rescues – in both roles (rescuer and rescuee).

Lots of immersion activity so you will need to be clothed appropriately. Kayaks to Grade 2 and bring any sort of rescue equipment you have (e.g. paddle float). Bring a helmet if you have one; loan helmets available.

Small group only.

Register online.  Email any queries to Adrian Clayton (instructor) at gclayton[at]
