South Coast NSW car camping (Long Weekend)
Date: 29th, 30th September, 1st, 2nd October 2012
Location: Tomakin (20Km South of Batemans Bay)
Grade 2-3
This weekend will consist of a number of day trips within the coastal area bound by Batehaven and Moruya.
Daily destinations will be dependent on prevailing weather and sea conditions. This is a spectacular area to explore by kayak and offers small surf in protected areas, rock gardens, ample wildlife and two large rivers to explore should conditions be unsuitable for ocean trips. We will be staying at the Barlings Beach Tourist Park Tomakin. Four days have been allocated to this trip to allow for extended travelling time.
